New G2 Brake Controller

I just received my new G2 brake controller from Hayes. I have been waiting for this for a while and obviously it was definately worth the wait. I installed it in now time and it was easy to set up. I accidentally threw away my instruction manual and got on the Hayes site and was able to download another one. I like the sleek new way it looks and the weight of it feels good and solid.

This is one of the very best customer service businesses, friendly & helpful. Also this product is made in the U.S.A. - can not do better than this! Any future controllers will be from Hayes.

  4. I signed on to this site lookiing for Air brake tow vehicle to electric brake cargo trailer conversion and the G2 came up. All of the blogs do not mention the air brake concept. Do these work in that circumstance?

  5. I am looking for a system that reacts proportionally and instantly to any change in brake pedal pressure and operates seamlessly with electric-over hydraulic braking systems. My application will be a three axle, 10,000 Lb. boat trailer equipped with electric-over hydraulic disk brakes.
My father had a Kelsey-Hayes braking system on a 1972 GMC Suburban which towed his 1973 model 27 ft Holiday Rambler travel trailer. His system was tied into the hydraulic brake line for proportional application of his electric brakes. He was as proud of, and bragged about, his braking system as much as he did his trailer. I drove his rig many times and I know what he meant, it was fantastic and safe! That is why I want a Hayes braking system for my application.
